Cut Your Morning Routine Time Tips

Ladies, you know we all spend more time in the morning getting ready than we'd like. I mean I don't know about you all, but frankly I just don't get enough sleep and any extra time counts. So how do you cut back on something so important such as your morning routine and STILL manage to look amazing at work or school? Easy, just swap some of your everyday items for these multi-tasking items. Also, check out my tips and you might just be surprised how LITTLE time you spend on your morning routine! Yay for more sleep!

1. Does your skin routine sound something like this in the morning? Layer of moisturizer, layer of spf, layer of foundation? If it does, then I've got a great product that will do all the above for you! Try a tinted moisturizer with spf ladies. Tinted moisturizers are moisturizers that have a little color to them and they usually come with at least spf 15 so you'll be covered on all three levels!

Recommendations: Bobbi Brown's EXTRA Tinted Moisturizer SPF 25 for normal to dry skin.
For oily skin, try Korres's watermelon based Tinited Moisturizer SPF 30.

2. Do you use chapstick then a layer of lipstick? Why not invest in a tinted lip balm that will provide both moisture for your lips and add a hint of color? Granted you won't achieve opaque color with tinted lip balms, your lips will be nicely moisturized with a natural hint of color instead.

Recommendations: Try Korres's Lip Butter for a fast fix. If you really want to splurge, try Dior's Dior Addict Lip Glow.

3. If you like to use color on your lids everyday, you probably have to apply eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara right? Why not cut down on your time by using a creme eyeshadow that has long staying power so you can skip the eye primer? Also, if you use a dark brown or gray creme eyeshadow all over your lid, you can use the same color and apply on your lash line for a lining effect, just use a lining brush. This way you're only using one eyeshadow for 3 different steps. Then just add mascara and you should be good to go!

Recommendations: Bobbi Brown's Long Wear Cream Shadow or Estee Lauder's Double Wear Stay in Place Creme Shadow
